As revival stirs …

you can be a source of hope
in your own back yard

Les had been robbed, beaten and left for dead.  He was taken to a hospital, and that’s where God spoke to him.  Les says:

“I heard a voice that said, ‘You’re not dead, brother.  You’re still alive.  I want you back.’”

Now Les takes every opportunity to share his story and tell others about the power of God at work in his life … and his testimony is part of a great revival sweeping the nation’s centre.

Les’ story is just one of thousands – and you help make such transformation possible as you bring God’s Word to Indigenous communities.

So I invite you to be a source of hope by giving today to help meet a $331,800 goal to provide 23,700 Plain English Version resources for the under-resourced Church in Indigenous communities across Australia.

Your generosity to share God’s Word will plant hope in countless lives and help many more people like Les come to know the love and joy of Jesus – and share Him with others!

Right now, a spirit of revival is stirring in many Indigenous communities.  Local churches and ministry organisations are crying out for more copies of the Plain English Version resources to disciple new believers, families, children and inmates so they can engage with God’s Word in ways they understand.

You’ll help bring God’s peace and freedom to so many who are incarcerated and in the most difficult physical circumstances.  One inmate said:

“Every time I attended [Bible class], I felt as if I was no longer in prison.  I’ve learnt to be at peace with myself.”

Imagine how you can help more people meet the Prince of Peace as you help provide Bibles for those who are searching for the hope of the Gospel.

Currently the Plain English Version resources are being used by speakers of the many Aboriginal languages, who also have an understanding of English, but who may not have the Bible translated in their own language. By reaching these people, more men, women and children are learning to live the right way of life through His Word.

So would you please join with me in prayer today…

  • Please pray for believers like Les as they continue to receive and share God’s Word in their homes and communities. Pray for a great outpouring of the Spirit and for lives to be transformed through their witness.
  • Pray that many, many friends like you will step forward to share God’s light and love by resourcing the under-resourced Church in Indigenous communities across Australia.

Your support can be a source of God’s light shining through His Word to show thousands of people how to live a new life, filled with His grace, peace and love.  As the Apostle Paul wrote:

“All Scripture is given by God.  And all Scripture is useful for teaching and for showing people what is wrong in their lives.  It is useful for correcting faults and teaching the right way to live.” (2 Timothy 3:16 ERV)
