Les had been robbed, beaten and left for dead.  He was taken to a hospital, and that’s where God spoke to him.  Les says:

“I heard a voice that said, ‘You’re not dead, brother.  You’re still alive.  I want you back.’”

Right now, a spirit of revival is stirring in many Indigenous communities.  Local churches and ministry organisations are crying out for more copies of the Plain English Version resources to disciple new believers, families, children and inmates so they can engage with God’s Word in ways they understand.

You’ll help bring God’s peace and freedom to so many who are incarcerated and in the most difficult physical circumstances.  One inmate said:

“Every time I attended [Bible class], I felt as if I was no longer in prison.  I’ve learnt to be at peace with myself.”

Currently the Plain English Version resources are being used by speakers of the many Aboriginal languages, who also have an understanding of English, but who may not have the Bible translated in their own language.
