Help transform the lives of people like Moses in Africa with God’s Word
There are countless lost, struggling people in Africa who desperately need to hear that God loves them and has a plan for their lives – and you can give them this opportunity with your gift today.
Even the hardest-to-reach people, like prisoners, can turn their lives around as God’s Word softens their hearts!
Moses, a young man currently incarcerated in a Kenyan prison, used to be one of those people.
Moses ended up in prison after having to resort to stealing to support himself and his grandmother. After being arrested, Moses said, “I thought my life had come to an end.”
But God worked through generous friends like you, and Moses’ imprisonment soon became the best thing that has ever happened to him! He says:
“I was invited by my fellow inmates to join them in the Bible studies. I found them studying Bible League’s Maisha Mapya [New Life].
“The Bible studies were held in prison in the afternoon and our group had six inmates. Before I joined the Bible study, I attended church and heard the Gospel on many occasions, but I never responded to receive Christ. I hardened my heart and was living my own life.
“But attending the studies made me realise that I was lost without Christ and that I needed to receive Him as my Lord and Saviour. I did that, and what a joy it is to have hope and new life!”
The blessings kept on coming when friends like you sent Moses his own Bible. He shares:
“It was my first time owning a copy of the Word of God. I felt so good and was very happy that Bible League gave me something I needed all my life to guide and direct me on the right path.”
With your help today, God’s Word will reach adults, youth and children through Project Philip and Church Planter Training in 11 African nations: Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Mozambique, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
When you help to provide 7,000 essential Bibles along with training that makes God’s Word easily understood, more lives in Africa will be transformed.
Thank you for giving generously today to reach more people across this troubled continent – people like Moses whom God loves so much!
