A Syrian refugee who found refuge in Christ

Rana* grew up in a Muslim home in Syria. “When Islamic State (ISIS) took over our village, they soon started to radicalise people including my family, into hating anyone who did not believe in their god,” Rana recalls.

“The hatred and violence that ISIS was instilling in the hearts of many locals scared me. I longed for love and peace but the violence was taking hold of our community. It was in this longing when I found Jesus. The truth about what He did for me brought an overwhelming sense of love and peace into my heart.”

Scattered throughout the Middle East, believers like Rana quietly survive persecution in the  midst of extreme poverty, terror and violence. They gather in the dead of night for sustenance in God’s living Word, praying and singing together, praising His Almighty name. What many persecuted Christians need today are Bibles and biblical resources to help them grow  their faith and reach many others desperate for the Gospel.

Persecuted in the home she grew up in, hated in the a country she loves, Rana finds safety in Christ, in a region torn between love and war.

In 2018, with your help, Bible League was able to reach 159,555 people in the Muslim World, with many more still waiting, desperate to receive the Word of God.

Today, for a gift of just $20, you can place an Arabic Bible and biblical resources into the waiting hands of persecuted Christians like Rana. Your gift of $60 will provide Bibles to three people wanting to grow in faith and share the Gospel. And a gift of $200 will mean ten people will have their very own copy of the God’s Word.

Partner with us today and be a massive part of what God is doing in many Muslim hearts.

“People will insult you and hurt you. They will lie and say all kinds of evil things about you because you follow me. But when they do that, know that great blessings belong to you.”  Matthew 5:11 ERV
