We have run a number of great Annual Dinners over the past few years at Stamford Grand, however, this year we decided we wanted to try something new. Recently, one of my colleagues made a suggestion and said: “Hilton, why don’t you cook a meal for a group of Bible League supporters and share with them some stories of your recent field visits.” (they knew that I really enjoyed cooking, and so it was a very possible suggestion).
Being someone who loves to share about what God is doing in the field and loves to cook, I couldn’t resist. I chatted to Dot, our Event Coordinator, and she agreed to organise the events. As a result, we are travelling to Adelaide to do exactly that, meet up with you, cook a meal for you and share about what God is doing through the ministry of Bible League. There are three dinners and two lunches, each event is limited to 17 seats and we expect them to book out, so I’d recommend you reserve your place quickly.
What can you expect on the evening?
- Firstly, you’ll have the opportunity to have a meal cooked by me – yes, I’ll be cooking!
- Plus, you’ll be briefed about some of my recent trips to the field – God is doing some incredible things in people’s lives and I’ll share some of these stories with you
- You’ll also be able to connect and fellowship with other Bible League supporters
- And you’ll have the opportunity to partner with us financially at the event
Details of the venue will be provided once you RSVP, but it is being held in Torrens Park, so is reasonably central and accessible to many in Adelaide.
Please RSVP by Friday, 15th July, 2018.
