In the recent past, COVID-19 has profoundly changed most people’s lives around the world. It doesn’t discriminate between rich, poor, educated or uneducated, Christian or other. It has impacted nearly everyone and and made many of us far more grateful for our freedom.
Persecuted Christians all over the world - over 340 million – have been suffering more than ever over this time. This is an increase of 80 million being persecuted from the previous year. The global pandemic has meant these Christians are even less likely to have the freedom to practice their faith. Many more would be suffering further persecution at the hands of their own family during lockdowns as they are no longer able to move around as freely as before.
